About Dr. Idema

Jocelyn Idema, DO, CIME is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon (AOBOS) and fellowship-trained spine surgeon, trained at The Spine Institute of Arizona. In practice since 2011, she evaluates the full spectrum of orthopedic conditions, with subspecialty depth in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine cases. She has conducted hundreds of independent medical examinations and peer reviews for attorneys and claims professionals nationwide.

She is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (ABIME) and SEAK-trained in medicolegal examination and testimony. She is licensed to practice and conduct examinations in Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Texas, Illinois, Virginia, and Georgia, and is available for in-person or virtual examinations.
